Digital Asset Management Platform

QWARE was commissioned by the UK’s national standards authority—responsible for maintaining standards across retail, supply chain, and healthcare sectors—to design and build a next-generation digital asset management platform. Following a highly successful pilot, QWARE was awarded the contract to deliver a cloud-first, scalable, and secure member asset management system to replace the legacy service.

The client required a modern, future-ready solution capable of:

During our engagement, we became an extension of their IT and project teams, providing cloud infrastructure, software development, expertise, and training to ensure a smooth and successful delivery.

The Solution

The QWARE engineered cloud-based platform, running on Microsoft Azure delivered robust agility, scalability, and security. Leveraging leading technologies such as Cosmos-DB and Object Relational Modelling (ORM), the solution successfully broke free of traditional data constraints to realise a flexible and dynamic asset management solution. 

Through its Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partnership with Microsoft, QWARE ensured the platform met stringent ISO 27001 security and service-level standards.

Completing the solution with a 24/7 self-service membership web portal to deliver a seamless, secure, and engaging experience for all members to manage their digital assets. 

The project followed an MVP agile delivery model, ensuring timely, on-budget completion.

The Future

Growing on the success of the first year of live operation, the platform is evolving to support QR Code integration, preparing for the UK retail industry adoption, enhancing consumer engagement with in-depth product digital information.
